Data collection

KeyFreeze does not collect, record, store, transmit, sell, or share keyboard input or other personal data. The app has no user account, analytics, advertising, telemetry, or cloud service.

Local preferences

KeyFreeze stores settings such as duration, countdown, unlock mode, launch-at-login preference, and onboarding completion locally on your Mac using Apple-provided preferences storage. These settings are not transmitted to Baja Sky Studios LLC.

Input Monitoring

KeyFreeze requests macOS Input Monitoring permission so it can temporarily intercept and discard selected input events while a lock is active. KeyFreeze does not inspect or retain the content of those events. macOS controls this permission, and you can revoke it at any time in System Settings.

Touch ID

If you enable Parent Unlock, biometric authentication is performed by macOS through Apple LocalAuthentication. KeyFreeze receives only the success, failure, or cancellation result. It does not receive or store biometric data.

Children

KeyFreeze is a utility for adults supervising a shared Mac. It is not directed to children and does not collect information from children or adults.

Support communications

If you contact support, Baja Sky Studios LLC receives the information you choose to include in your message and uses it only to respond and maintain necessary support records. Do not include passwords or sensitive personal documents.

Website hosting

The KeyFreeze support website may generate routine server logs, such as request time, browser information, and IP address, through its hosting provider for security and reliability. The website does not use advertising cookies or behavioral analytics.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when KeyFreeze or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
